How to Play Football Tic Tac Toe

Read the board

OXO Football uses a 3×3 football tic-tac-toe board. Three club badges run across the top and three down the left. Each empty cell is where those two teams intersect — that is where you will place a footballer.
Pick a valid player

On your turn, choose a cell and name a footballer who has played for both teams at that intersection. If the player never appeared for one of the clubs, the move is invalid.
Claim the cell

A correct answer fills the cell with your footballer. Your opponent then picks another empty cell and names a valid player for their side. Every move blends OXO strategy with football knowledge.
Get three in a row

Win by lining up three of your footballers in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — just like classic tic-tac-toe. Block your opponent while building your own winning line.
Play online or with friends
